An overlapping of two cities is in the center of interest.
Which city (front of a house) is placed into the front?
What effect is caused by the use of two colores, in speciall gray and green?
The windows can be seen as a visuall threshold between outside and outside.
As the artwork shoes fews from the street (outside), the inside is unknown.
My personal Dublin:
How does the short stay in the city effect me and my impressions?
What power lies in this intens experience of a city?
The charm of the new accompanies me true the houle stay.
The old part of the town fascinates with ist small, colorfull houses and narrow lanes.
My personal Linz:
During a wellknown everyday walk throw Linz I oversee people and overhear noice. I don’t recognize chanches in architecture immidently. The new gets part of the city-few quick, and soon I cannot remember the former.
Photographies of Linz and Dublin get prepared and with silk-screen process printed one upon the other so that the images overlap.
Linz, an industrial city, gets a grey color and Dublin, the capitol of Ireland, gets a green color. The print of screen-process (screendots) and the overlaping of the color gives the images a new specific look and creates a composition of the two cities.
